Chester Rising

We wanted to thank the people in our community whose support of the Chester Charter School for the Arts has been pivotal to the lives of our children.

So we spent a day filming at the new campus, talking and watching, trying to capture the sense of something extraordinary happening in the course of an ordinary school day. In making ‘Chester Rising,’ we’ve tried to impart what it was we witnessed, the spirit in the voices, the joy in the movement, the sincerity in the smiles of these students. The inspiration and courage they get from simply being there, each day, in the care of so many. That’s you.

Thank you.

Ways to Give

The new campus for CCSA was made possible through financing and through private donations. To date, we have raised $6 million towards our $7 million goal, which we hope to reach by December 2017.

If you are interested in contributing to support our investment in this facility, and perhaps in honoring a friend or family member by naming a space in the building, please be in touch with Alex Coll or Amy Komarnicki at tcf@thechesterfund.org or (610) 859-2988.

Building Bright Futures

In 2016 the Chester Fund acquired eleven acres of land in the City of Chester on which to construct a modern, urban campus for the Chester Charter School for the Arts.
