Young CCSA Scientists Host a Monarch Butterfly Launch

On September 15th, CCSA’s third graders had the opportunity to be butterfly conservationists for the day! Alan and Barbara Mennig, residents of White Horse Village and volunteers at the Tyler Arboretum, led an informative and interactive session for our budding scientists to learn about the characteristics, life cycle and conservation of the monarch butterfly.

First Day of School, 2017–18

On Tuesday, we welcomed 604 CCSA scholars to our new campus for the start of the academic year. In addition to welcoming our newest kindergarten class (class of 2030) we added 11th grade to our high school program. I continue to be amazed that just over 14 months ago this campus was an empty lot
