Rotary Fundraiser Supports Early Readers Library

A fundraiser hosted by the Rotary Club of Swarthmore supported an early-readers library for one of CCSA’s kindergarten classrooms.

CCSA Student Art Gallery

The Hedgerow Theatre in Rose Valley welcomed local Rotarians and friends of CCSA to behold the work of our young artists from grades 3 through 11. Following a jam-packed reception, guests were invited to hear Akosua Watts, CCSA’s Head of School/CEO, speak on the importance of literacy to Early Childhood Education.

A special Hedgerow performance

The night’s event culminated with a special performance by the Hedgerow Theatre Company of The Boogie Woogie Radio Hour. A special thank you to Swarthmore Rotary Club President Joy Charlton, past-president Lisa Lee, and club member Penelope Reed for organizing this delightful event in support of The Chester Charter School for the Arts.
