There are many opportunities to become involved at The Chester Fund and CCSA!

Opportunities include:

Reading Beach Club is our longest-standing volunteer opportunity, through which individuals read to Kindergarteners on Friday afternoons.

We offer numerous after school clubs year round. Volunteers are always welcome to coach sports, tutor and help with homework, suggest a club that they might lead, or to support an existing club.

We welcome visitors to classrooms to present about their profession, a recent trip, or other area of expertise that relates to curriculum topics.

We try to provide multiple field trip opportunities to students in every grade. Many of these come about through volunteers bringing ideas and connections to us that help to make experiences beyond the classroom viable and affordable.

The Chester Fund aims to arrange at least one fundraising event each year. In May 2018, we look forward to presenting Chester Rising, a gallery event featuring the work of CCSA scholars and partnering artist, George Rothacker. We have a small staff, and such events would not be possible without the support of volunteers.
